(14/12) Center for Green Infrastructure Resilience and Development (C-Greinde), Postgraduate School, Diponegoro University has held a Conference activity entitled GREINWE Conference 2021 with the theme “Waste Generation Data Management”. The activity took place online through a zoom meeting on December 14-15 2021. 6 resource persons were attending the 2021 GREINWE Conference, namely Prof. Sadhan Kumar Ghosh (from Jadavpur University – India), Assoc. Prof. Dr. eng. Hirofumi Nakayama (from Kyushu University – Japan), Dr. eng. Kanawut Inkaew (from Rajamangala University – Thailand), Prof. Dr. rer. grout. Imam Buchori, S.T. (from Diponegoro University – Indonesia), Assoc. Prof. Emenda Sembiring, ST., MT., M.Eng.Sc. (from Bandung Institute of Technology – Bandung), Assoc. Prof. IDAA Warmadewanthi, ST., MT., PhD (from Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology – Surabaya).
GREINWE Conference 2021 ran smoothly and orderly which was attended by hundreds of participants and presenters. This activity is the beginning of a series of future GREINWE activities. It is hoped that this conference will be able to generate ideas in waste management, especially in managing waste generation data throughout Indonesia. “I hope this activity will continue and this is the initial history of the formation of the GREINWE Conference as a means of providing solutions in managing waste data in Indonesia” Maryono.
